Weekly Workshops!
Mondays: Needle Felting Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00

Join us for our Needle Felting Circle! Circles are where you can come together with others while working on your own project. Socialize, get ideas, and have fun! For circle sessions, you will bring your own supplies and project to work on.
Tuesdays: Zentangle Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00
Some Tuesdays have a formal Tangle Tuesday class.
Circle will not be held on those days.

Join us for our Zentangle Circle! Circles are where you can come together with others while working on your own project. Socialize, get ideas, and have fun! For circle sessions, you will bring your own supplies and project to work on.
Wednesday: Waldorf Wednesday, FREE, 10:00-12:00

Wednesday mornings in the Studio we will be working on hand-made prizes for the Eugene Waldorf School's annual faires. If you are interested in learning simple handwork techniques and creating beautiful felt toys for children, please feel free to join us.

All materials provided, and all items created will be donated to the Eugene Waldorf School. You are welcome to make copies of the patterns used to take home.
Thursdays: Make and Take, $5, 1:00-4:00

Every Thursday from 1:00 - 4:00, we'll have a Make and Take project all setup and ready to go. This is a drop in session, so you don't need to sign up. The cost will be $5. Everything will be supplied - you don't need to bring a thing!

Fridays: Scrapbook Circle, $5, 1:00-4:00

Alcohol Ink Backgrounds

Mini Envelope Album

Join us to make this mini envelope album using Graphic 45's Nature Sketchbook line.

You will learn a simple and fun binding technique and then decorate with flowers, cut-outs, and the GORGEOUS paper from this beautiful line.

Please Bring: Paper cutter, scissors, scor-board or scoring blade, tape runner, 1/2" scor tape, chalk inks (blackberry, dark moss, warm red)

Launch Party: Flowering Dogwood

Each month Heartfelt Creations debuts a brand new line of designs - and they have approved us for their Launch Party program!

What does this mean for you?

Each month, we'll create 2-3 samples using the brand new designs.

When you sign up and attend the launch party you'll get all the supplies and instructions you need to make those projects. You'll be able to use the stamps and dies in class AND, you can stamp and cut as many as you like!

These parties will be really fun - we hope you join us to try out these beautiful products!

Please Bring: tape runner, foam dots, glue dots, small scissors, liquid adhesive. Please bring if you have it: manual die cut machine, flower shaping tools

Zentangle, White on Black

White lines on black tiles are a fun alternative for creating Zentangle art.

Learn techniques for working with the white gel pen for tangling, then adding white charcoal for highlights, resulting in beautiful designs with striking contrast.

Previous Zentangle experience is recommended, but not required. A white gelly roll pen is included with the class!

Supplies needed: General's white charcoal pencil or white Prismacolor colored pencil, tortillion*

Recommended: detail eraser

Zentangle, Renaissance Style

This is a classic style of Zentangle, inspired by the Renaissance drawing technique of using dark and light colors on a tan background.

Fun and beautiful!!

Please bring: Micron 01 pens in black and brown (not sepia), white charcoal pencil, graphite pencil (General’s Layout Pencil recommended), tortillion (All available at the Studio!)

Also recommended: Micron 05 pens in black and brown

Altered Flag Pages & Cards

Saturday, March 11
10:30-12:30, $24


Join us to learn this fun technique using 3-d flag pop-ups to create interest and depth.

This is a great way to add quotes, sentiments, or pictures to your project and can be done in an altered book, art journal, or on a card.

Everything folds down flat when done!

Taught by Susan Peterson

Please bring: Ruler, glue stick, long background paper or 2 sheets of paper (about the size of your book or card plus 4"), paper cutter or exacto knife and mat, coordinating cardstock, embellishments, image, or words for the tags. Altered book if desired.

Foundations of Needle Felting 3, Detail

Dylusions Mixed Media Journal

Learn a quick and easy way to build this journal and create colorful, fast backgrounds!

We'll use stencils, dylusions sprays, paints, stamps, and more! Stenciling and ghosting techniques will be introduced as well as contrast stamping, and making your own washi tape!

This is a fun, quick, relaxed mixed media class.

Please bring: Scor tape, glue stick, roll of paper towels

Watercolor Spring Cards

Spring is on the way, and these cards are just the thing to welcome her!

You will combine some adorable stamp and die sets with easy watercolor techniques to make these sweet cards.

The cat card is a three layered mini tri-fold. Each layer reveals more of the scene. So cute!

Please bring: small scissors, tape runner, foam squares, liquid adhesive or glue dots, small watercolor brush.

Class Policies:

  • We encourage pre-payment for every class so that we are able to adequatley prepare and gather materials.

  • Some classes require pre-payment to reserve your spot.

  • If you cancel three business days prior to the class, we will issue either a refund or store credit whichever you prefer.

  • Classes cancelled with less than three business days notice will receive a store credit.

  • If you are cancelling with less than 24 hours notice - a refund is not possible. If the class lends itself to allowing a kit for the project - a kit will be provided. If a kit is provided, we will hold your kit for one week after the class.

  • If you are sick or there is an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.
